To always keep the filter of your oil recycler clean you can put a piece of absorbent paper towel over it when you’re going to filter oil. It will be easier to remove the bits that fall inside. You can just catch them with the paper towel and throw them away. You don’t have to do it that way, but if you do you won’t have to remove the lid to throw away the bits.
