Induction adapters are very interesting and you can use them to extend the life of utensils when you replace your cooker with an induction one. They let you cook with non-magnetic vessels on induction cookers. For optimum performance it’s important that the diameters of the bottoms of the utensils you’re using and the adapters are as similar as possible.

If you put a small vessel on a large adapter you can still cook with it, but the adapters will accumulate more heat than is needed in the areas where there is no contact, which can damage the adapter or the cooker.
